Executive Networking Strategies
18 September 2026

Most senior roles are filled through relationships, referrals, and executive search firms before they are ever advertised publicly.
Effective executive networking is not about volume. It is about relevance: a deliberate map of decision-makers, search partners, board members, and peers who understand your value.
Start with a short list of 30 target organisations. For each, identify two or three people whose decisions or opinions matter. Offer insight before you ask for anything.
Keep a disciplined cadence: brief, value-led touchpoints every six to eight weeks. Over a year, this creates a network that works for you quietly in rooms you are not in.
